A sandy and pebble beach tie up the two edges of Kyra Panagia.
On one side, the small church dedicated on "Virgin Mary" and on the other an enormous rock, oppose to each other and embrace the small houses and restaurants of the area.

The Panoramic view

is found precisely above the rock where you can go (ten minutes walking approximately) in order to watch and enjoy the vastness of this nature.

The church celebrates the feast of "Virgin Mary" on the 23rd of August with music, local food and dance.

Kyra Panagia is the ideal place for relaxed and trouble free holidays and its amongst favorites of people who repeatedly visiting the island of Karpathos.



	This beautiful beach is lying in a cove between the mountains and has a fine mixture of white sand and smooth pebbles, and crystalline waters. It is close to Apella beach, 14 kilometers north-east of Pigadia. It is reachable by car, motorbike or boat (leaving from Pigadia). Umbrellas and sun beds are available for rent.
